The answer to that question is “Yes.”
How adventurous am I? My travel research brought me to encounter where fried tarantulas are consumed (Cambodia and Vietnam, mainly). I have looked up every country in the world (ok I have two left but close enough) and written down some things I want to experience in each of those places. I’ve seen and heard of some wacky things people do and/or eat but spiders?…no…gigantic, fuzzy, black, 8-legged, fat-bodied, monsters that are fried and guzzled down like I’d eat a chocolate bar! I know I talk about how I want to experience what makes a place what it is for people. But everyone has got to have their limits right? I’d like to say that is one of mine buuuut I’d be lying to everyone and myself if I said I wouldn’t end up doing it. I’ll be reluctant and procrastinate the sh!t out of the situation, of course, but regardless, that arachnid most people rightfully flee from will end up a pile of chewed mush gulped down. Too much? If I’m going to do something like eat a tarantula, no way in hell am I going to spare any details. The worst thought that has come to mind about this is not only will I do this, but what if I actually like it? Time will tell…and I can wait for that one.
