I didn’t sleep as well as I could have but that’s okay. I work up at 8 and saw Jen, one of my dance friends, had texted me saying she has bronchitis. 😦 I won’t be seeing her this time around I guess! I went back to sleep for another 25 minutes. So worth it! I showered and did some sink laundry so things should be dry by the time Uncle Craig and Aunt Wendy pick me up! The view from the kitchen is amazing!
I made some blackcurrant-pomegranate white tea blend, that I created myself. I also had some laughing cow cheese wedges and two slices of wheat toast, since Aunt Jody said I could eat whatever I could find. Ah, and I now hear movement!
My uncle and cousin took me to a bagel place for breakfast “eggels.” An eggel is a delicious combination of a bagel, eggs, and whatever other breakfast sandwich stuff your heart desires. We played Uno while eating. Gary won one game and I won the next, with lots of Draw-2 cards haha sorry, not really.
Uncle Craid and Aunt Wendy picked me up and took me to the Space Needle.
We had lunch at an all vegan place, and it was delicious! I had a salad with tempeh, millet, avocados, etc.
After lunch, we went to Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. There were crazy amazing works of glass art there. No pictures, even filtered, could really capture this magic. It is also right across from the Space Needle, and Science Museum and all of the other activities, so it is very easy to make a day trip out of it. On the way back to the car, Aunt Wendy and Uncle Craig introduced me to geocaching, which was really fun! It would be cool to do this around the world. It is easy to sign up at geocaching.com, so go for it!

Everything is glass.
Although I was only here in Seattle for about 14 hours, I am satisfied with my time spent here. It was awesome to see family that I hadn’t seen in years! I am now back at the train station waiting for the train…at least it’s here! Let’s see if it will leave on time. *rolls eyes*
I am on the train and it is indeed leaving on time. Woah! There is a guy here who is on a similar life path as me. We are both currently working in education, with plans to travel the world more but wanted to see our country as well, and he also blogs!
I am excited for dinner. I think I am going to have the catch of the day, which should be called “Catch of the everyday,” since its literally the same thing every day and on every train. Ooooo crab cakes! I devoured those because hunger took over. Oops. I sat with two men during tonight’s social roulette. One looked like John Cusack and the other is a contractor who has built multiple 2-million dollar houses. I want!…I just don’t want to pay that ahaha that’s how it works right?

Short people problems…but it’s not actually a problem ha!
I am back in my seat, stuffed, and tired as f#*k, even though it’s only 8PM. I might go to sleep now, unless a certain person texts me…because I am thoroughly enjoying that even though I am not really sure what is going on haha! This part of my trip is mostly in the mountains, so I probably won’t have much service anyway.
The conductor: “Wenatchee will be a smoke break, and if you want to get out and stretch your eggs,-I mean legs…”
Stretch your eggs ahaha don’t mind if I do?
Okay I am signing off now. Good night!
(This is Grandma on Grandpa’s e-mail! It’s a very good thing we don’t do secrets! J)
I love you…..a few typos, if that’s important! You write so that the reader is there with you—-I know that’s the idea, but you actually do it!!!
