Day 1 of vacation
As a usual day I got up and ready for school after my minimum day at school, practically everything changed. Everything? I had to leave right when the bell rang because I was getting my highlights redone for free. I got my new highlights redone for free because the first time, they weren’t the way I wanted them to be. The one time I color my hair and it gets messed up haha My mom took me home after getting highlights so I can finish packing for China. After I had my two bagels for snack, I went to Hebrew School. TWO BAGELS IS A SNACK?? At temple, we had the Passover kugel that we made on the previous Sunday. After temple, my mom took me to elephant bar to where my mom, Kyle and I met my funny aunt Tracy. Aunt Tracy took me to LA, where we went to a French restaurant called La Dijonaise. Wait…did we not just eat dinner at Elephant Bar? Along with my aunt and me, we also dined with my aunt’s boyfriend, Gary. They’ve been married for years so clearly that worked out haha! For my dinner I had prosciutto and cantaloupe and a ½ size Caesar salad. For dessert, I had this chocolate café cake. I got full after eating about half. Aunt tracy said I had to smear it over my hair. Yeah that sounds normal haha After dinner, gary took me in his car to sleep over at my aunts house. He slept over also. Oh eleven-year-old me. I got settled in, took a shower, got ready for bed, and my aunt sang me a good-night song from Tom Sawyer.
